This is a FILET dedicated site, and this tutorial is for the CROCHETERS who wish to "UPGRADE" their skills to filet.

You should know how to work chain, single crochet and double crochet. If you know these basics, then you are ready to start learning filet crochet! If you don't - please refer to the general crochet sites, purchase books on crochet how-to or attend the crochet classes.
